N.E.R.D. team up with Future on ‘1000’
Their new album ‘No_One Ever Really Dies’ is out next month.
Earlier this month, N.E.R.D. followed up some cryptic teases by launching their comeback single (with none other than Rihanna), ‘Lemon’.
They’re now on the cusp of releasing their brand new album, ‘No_One Ever Really Dies’, which is due on 15th December. Before that though, they’re previewing the collection with another newie, and this time they’ve got rapper Future to join them.
So what does ‘1000’ sound like? Well, it’s a pretty bombastic one, featuring some crushing, super-heavy percussive elements that the collaborators glide their vocals over. As it reaches its climax, there’s even a flurry of vintage synths added to the mix. It’s all pretty heart-racing stuff.
Listen to ‘1000’ below.
