Night Beats get shadowy in their new ‘Power Child’ video
The new clip joins a UK tour announcement for the soulful, Heavenly-signed rockers.
Night Beats’ soulful tendencies disguise a dark heart, a fact that’s never been clearer than in their brand new video for ‘Power Child’, premiering below on DIY.
Swathed in shadows, the psychier tendencies of the Seattle group suck what’s left of the limelight. Darting in and out of the darkness and busting out some of the best black-and-white boogying since Radiohead’s ‘Lotus Flower’ video, it’s a Riley Blakeway directed insight into the band’s warped minds backed by a swaggering, sweaty cut of their ballsy Southern rock.
‘Power Child’ is taken from ‘Who Sold My Generation’, Night Beats’ ace latest LP which picked up four stars back in our February issue. They’re celebrating it the only way they know how, too - jumping on a plane, hopping back in the van and embarking on yet another smash ‘n’ grab UK tour. Dates for that are below, alongside the first play of ‘Power Child”s new video.
