Nirvana’s ‘In Utero’ Set For 20th Anniversary Re-Issue
The full re-release will be made available for eager fans to get their hands on 23rd September.

2013 will mark twenty years since Nirvana released their final album ‘In Utero’ and what better way to celebrate its lifetime, than to re-release it?
Much like ‘Nevermind”s reissue back in 2011, ‘In Utero’ will be treated to a full ‘multi-format release’; the largest boxset of which boasts an additional - and staggering - seventy tracks. They include (according to the press release) ‘remastered, remixed, rare, unreleased and live recordings over configurations ranging from a 3-CD/1-DVD Super Deluxe Edition to a standard digital/CD remaster of the original album.’ Phew!
There’s also demos, B-Sides and the full recording of the band’s ‘Live and Loud’ show, which took place at Seattle’s Pier 48 on 13th December 1993. There’s even a DVD of the performance tucked away in there somewhere, too.
The full re-release will be made available for eager fans to get their hands on 23rd September, and in the meantime, you can peruse your purchase options over here.
