Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds to support Smashing Pumpkins on North American tour
AFI will also join the August run.
Noel Gallagher and his High Flying Birds have been announced to support Smashing Pumpkins on their US tour this summer.
The tour - which also includes support from AFI - will begin in Camden, New Jersey on 8th August and run through ‘til the last day of the month, where they’ll play the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
Smashing Pumpkins released the intensely-titled ‘Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun’ LP back in November.
Noel, meanwhile, gained a Mercury Prize nomination for last album ‘Who Built The Moon?’.
He also recently announced a UK tour for May.
