Nova Twins stake their claim and take up space on latest track ‘N.O.V.A’
It’s our latest preview of the duo’s incoming third LP, ‘Parasites & Butterflies’.

Alt-rock innovators and former DIY cover stars Nova Twins have offered up another taste of what to expect from their forthcoming third album ‘Parasites & Butterflies’ (due out on 29th August via Marshall Records) with its powerful latest single, ‘N.O.V.A’.
Following ‘Monsters’, ‘Piranha’, and ‘Soprano’ to be the fourth track lifted from the record, ‘N.O.V.A’ is an unapologetic manifesto for taking up space while taking no shit. “This is a celebration of identity, a tribute to the women in our family, and a refusal to apologise for who we are,” the band’s Amy Love and Georgia South have shared.
“As two Black women in rock music, we initially felt we had to prove ourselves, due to a lack of representation. Sticking to our guns and overcoming self-doubt has brought us pride. This song honours the peers who paved the way and the progress we’ve made.”
