Novella announce debut ‘Land’ album, stream ‘Land Gone’

Novella have shared a new track titled ‘Land Gone’, the first preview of their upcoming debut album ‘Land’.

Recorded with Jonas Verijnen (Moon Duo, Ballet School) and Joshua Third (The Horrors), Novella’s long-player is released 11th May via Sinderlyn Records, the result of a chilly week in January 2014 at a Dalston studio that was previously a clothing factory.

Lead single ‘Land Gone’ demonstrates a fuller sound by the group, who now exist as a quintet after originally forming as a trio. Vocals rise to a higher space during the track’s momentum, lifted by the crystal harmonies, tight rhythm and a wall of guitar noise. Not overly drenched by effects, ‘Land Gone’ shows a polished result of the group’s trademark sound and the influences that brought the founding members together.
