Odd Future Denied Entry Into New Zealand
They were due to play Rapture Festival, curated by Eminem, before having their visas revoked.

Hip-hop troupe Odd Future’s world tour has made its first enemy in the form of New Zealand, a country that’s denying Tyler, the Creator and co. entry altogether.
They’ve been declared a ‘potential threat to public order’, and they’ve had their visas revoked. They were due to play this year’s Rapture Festival, curated by Eminem.
A statement from Australia’s immigration authority says the following:
‘The Immigration Act 2009 provides that entry permission may not be granted where there is reason to believe there is, or is likely to be, a threat or risk to public order or the public interest.’
As Consequence of Sound notes, OFWGKFA member Earl Sweatshirt waltzed into the country to play Auckland’s Laneway Festival just two weeks back.
