The world’s northernmost showcase has just announced that Of Monsters and Men will be performing at the 21st Iceland Airwaves Festival in November.

The Icelandic band are no stranger to the festival having played the 2010 edition. Since then hit single ‘Little Talks’ has been streamed over 1 billion times Spotify, Of Monsters and Men were the first Icelandic band achieve this. Their songs have been featured in the soundtracks for The Hunger Games and The Walking Dead. In 2015 the band performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Glastonbury and on top of this the band made a cameo on Game of Thrones.

Of Monsters and Men are joining a festival line up that features Mac DeMarco, Boy Azooga, Georgia, Shame, Hildur, Moses Hightower, Pavvla and The Howl and the Hum. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to witness the band on home soil.

This year’s Iceland Airwaves Festival takes places over 6th - 9th November in Reykjavik.
