Operator Please have just about finished touring their second album ‘Gloves’, and are about to start work on the follow up.
‘It is now time for us to go into ‘hibernation’ and begin work / the beloved writing / demo-ing / recording process again,’ the Australians say on their website.
‘It’s crazy to think that you can leave for so long and then just pop up. I guess that what it seems like to everyone else but us. Truth is - you never really stop working and you begin to live and breathe your work. It is time consuming, exhausting, stressful but above all REWARDING.’
‘The end result is what you are working toward & more and more. Pushing the envelope and pushing yourself until you are comfortable in a new and hopefully next level zone. I know this sounds a bit like ‘talk show host’ talk but it’s nothing but the truth.’
The band have just two shows on the way, at Brisbane Convention Centre, Australia, on 7th June.
