Panda Bear remixes Interpol’s ‘All The Rage Back Home’
Original track is featured on Interpol’s latest album ‘El Pintor’.
Panda Bear has remixed Interpol’s ‘All The Rage Back Home’, the lead single from the group’s recent album ‘El Pintor’. Interpol’s fifth album was released on Matador in September 2014.
The new edit sees Noah Lennox create a funereal atmosphere, adding a choral organ to the beginning, while trading the original chugging bass rhythm for squelching synths. Paul Banks’ vocals are lifted higher in the mix, with aqueous-effects bubbling nicely in the clamorous chorus - a heady brew, as expected from the Animal Collective man.
Interpol’s ‘El Pintor’ and Panda Bear’s ‘Panda Bear Meets The Grim Reaper’ are both out now. Listen to Panda Bear’s remix of ‘All The Rage Back Home’ below.
