Para Alta share ‘Blue Collared Mind’
The band play a host of UK shows next month.
Last year, quartet Para Alta played our Big Indie Big Nights series at London’s Two Tribes Brewery. Of the show, we described them as “blending Circa Waves-esque soaring guitar hooks with shimmering, sun-dappled nuances.”
They’ve now dropped new song ‘Blue Collared Mind’ ahead of a series of UK shows across February and March.
Of the new song, lead singer Jonny Bee says: “Blue Collared Mind is about life through the eyes of the working class, about how industry influences a certain way of thinking. Our hometown’s going through tough times at the moment, people we know are struggling, and we wanted to write about that. This song is about battling with your morals and the pursuit of a life you don’t want to lead.”
The band are set to release a 12’ retrospective titled ‘Greatest Hits 2016-2019’ in March, and they’ll play a release show for it at London’s Old Blue Last.
