PC Music and Chris Lee (Li Yuchun 李宇春) share ‘Only You’ collaboration

PC Music have shared their recently announced collaboration with Chinese pop megastar Chris Lee (Li Yuchun 李宇春), ‘Only You’.

The singer first shot to fame after winning China’s national singing contest Super Girl in 2005. Since then, she’s played regular sell-out arena shows, and reps. everyone from L’Oreal to Coca-Cola. She’s the perfect collaboration, then, for a world domination-seeking PC Music.

Predictably there’s a hint of jokiness to PC Music’s muffled, tinny synthisisers, and Chris Lee’s abrupt, treated vocals. Despite the mucking about, despite the playfulness, though, this also sticks out as the biggest straight-up pop song A.G Cook’s label has released since Hanna Diamond’s ‘Pink and Blue’.
