PC Music teams up with Sony Columbia
It’s happened - the online-only phenomenon is working with a major label.
PC Music has officially started a partnership with major label Columbia, naming the co-op a “new, highly advanced pop weapon” (blimey).
Announced on Facebook, PC Music calls Columbia “a truly ancient industry legend”. So far, the label has released singles and EPs online from acts including Hannah Diamond and Kane West.
The first release on this PC Music x Columbia team up will be a new EP from “music business heartthrob” Danny L Harle, titled ‘Broken Flowers’. Listen to ‘Forever’ below.
In true PC Music style, they sign off the announcement with all caps bravado: “CONCURRENT TO THIS DEVELOPMENT WE WILL CONTINUE TO ENFORCE A FAST PACED PRODUCTION LINE OF LAPLANDERS AND LIFESTYLES, SUPS AND SECRET MIXES, WANNABES, WARLORDS AND WESTERN BEATS.”
Festival special! Featuring Wolf Alice, Kasabian, Lykke Li, Marmozets, Genesis Owusu and more.
