Chipmunk XCX: PC Music’s A. G. Cook remixes Charli XCX ft. Rita Ora’s ‘Doing It’
Giddy edit links up with a new single from ‘Sucker’.
It’s been a long time coming, the meeting of two distinct and equally bonkers worlds: PC Music’s pop destruction and Charli XCX’s brattish assault on the charts. Today, A. G. Cook has unveiled his remix of Charli’s new ‘Doing It’ single, featuring Rita Ora.
Instead of doing the right thing and swapping Rita out for Hannah Diamond, Cook’s remix ups the pitch a few notches (as expected), before giving ‘Doing It’ the giddiest backing possible. The original version comes produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and features on ‘Sucker’, which is due out 16th February in the UK following a Stateside release.
‘Doing It’ is out 9th February on Asylym Records.
