Peace announce tiny homecoming show in Birmingham

Birmingham heroes Peace have announced plans to return to their home city for a special one-off gig this weekend.

With the follow-up to debut album ‘In Love’ still in the works, Harrison Koisser and co. are playing The Rainbow Courtyard on Sunday 28th September.

This marks the first time Peace have played the beloved local venue since 2012, although they’re no stranger to intimate gigs, landing at London’s 100 Club earlier this summer.

Tickets are being given away via a Facebook-linked competition.

About the gig, Koisser said to fans: “The last time we played The Rainbow Courtyard was Halloween 2012 and if my memory hasn’t betrayed me, it was the wildest show we have ever played. Being ourselves, we’ve decided to come back and play here again this Sunday – a gift for you gorgeous people… a gig, for you.”

So far in 2014, Peace have unveiled ‘World Pleasure’, ‘Money’ and ‘Lost On Me’, but they’ve yet to announce official plans to release a new album.
