Peaking Lights poke fun at the digital age in ‘Breakdown’ video

Ahead of the release of their groovetastic new ‘Cosmic Logic’ record, Peaking Lights are tapping away at their phone screens for the new ‘Breakdown’ video.

The new clip sees a poor individual crippled by her own addiction to the digital age. Everywhere she goes - bathroom, workplace, outdoors - she’s glued to a screen. Sound familiar? Well, this screen is the size of a human. It does irritating dances. It prompts the video’s subject into action and, eventually, madness.

Aaron Coyes and Indra Dunis make a quick, hand-holding cameo, but for the most part it’s the human-sized phone that’s stealing the show.

‘Cosmic Logic’ is out 6th October.

Peaking Lights play the following European dates.

OCTOBER

21 Paris, La Machine

23 London, Plastic People (Peaking Lights Sound System DJ)
