Pianos Become The Teeth reveal two videos for ‘Repine’

The song is taken from new album ‘Keep You’.

Baltimore’s Pianos Become The Teeth have unveiled two new videos for their single ‘Repine’.

Matching the brooding nature of the track, the first video sees vocalist Kyle Durfey walking at the bottom of a swimming pool, clutching bricks in his hands. The second video, entitled ‘Repine (Performance)’ concentrates almost solely on Durfey and his vocal delivery, while keeping the same scenes as the first video, alternating between a dusty workshop and the bottom of the pool again.

Speaking to Nylon Guys the band spoke of the two videos, saying: “It should be looked at less as ‘two versions’ for the same song and more like two perspectives taking place at the same time. The narrative can be looked at as the inner perspective of the song, the performance video can be looked at as the outer perspective, much more contemplative and subdued.”

‘Repine’ is taken from the band’s third album ‘Keep You’, which was released via Epitaph at the end of last month. You can read the DIY review of the album here.
