Pip Blom’s a laid-back raconteuse on ‘Babies Are A Lie’

Amsterdam singer Pip Blom already got us all in a tizzy last year with her rather wonderful ‘Are We There Yet?’ EP and now she’s delivered another treat in the form of newie ‘Babies Are A Lie’.

Now, while we can nix that frankly spurious idea immediately by confirming that babies are, indeed, most definitely real, we’ll allow Pip a little creative flexibility for making a Courtney Barnett-esque laid-back delight. All warm, chilled-out guitars and a big ol’ ear worm chorus, it’s one for a lazy Sunday afternoon in what’s left of the British sun.
