piri & tommy are back with ‘99%’, their first new music of 2024

Breakout dance-pop duo piri & tommy have returned to share ‘99%’ - their first new music of the year, and an initial preview of a forthcoming new EP (a release date for which is yet to be confirmed). 

The track follows the arrival of their ‘froge,mp3’ project back in 2022, as well as a string of more recent standalone singles (including last year’s ‘lovergirl’ and ‘bluetooth’) and their respective solo efforts. 

“Our message has always been to have fun with music and get people dancing”, the pair have said of ‘99%’ - a track which is “inspired by partying and UK student basement culture” and pays homage to one of their frequent Leeds haunts. “The world needs to party now more than ever, and this is our humble offering back to the scene that inspires us constantly and keeps us going.”
