PJ Harvey and John Parish share new track ‘Sorry For Your Loss’
The track from John’s new album is about Sparklehorse’s Mark Linkous.
Frequent PJ Harvey collaborator John Parish is gearing up to release his new album ‘Bird Dog Dante’ in June through Thrill Jockey, and on its latest track he’s once again teamed up with Polly Jean.
‘Sorry For Your Loss’ is about their mutual friend, the late Sparklehorse frontman Mark Linkous. PJ lends her vocals to the tune, which is stark and slightly folk-tinged.
PJ Harvey has recently contributed music for the film ‘Dark River’, recently sharing a video for ‘An Acre of Land’ starring the film’s own Ruth Wilson. She also released the track ‘The Camp’ last year, a collaboration with Ramy Essam.
