Flower power
Playlounge and Nai Harvest team up for split 12” EP
New 12” sees the band covering each other and comes out on flower-shaped vinyl.
Garage punk diamonds in the rough playlounge and Nai Harvest are teaming up for the release of a split 12” EP, which sees each band taking on covers as well as providing one new track respectively. The release is called ‘Flower’ and - how about that - it’s being pressed on flower-shaped vinyl.
London duo playlounge - Saam Watkins and Laurie Foster - are leading the chase with the unveiling of ‘handclap cinema’, an all-guns-blazing take from the EP and a completely new track following their debut album ‘pilot’.
Sheffield duo Nai Harvest are set to provide their own contribution with ‘Buttercups’. They’ll also cover playlounge’s ‘Sweet Tooth’ while the favour’s returned with a take on Nai Harvest’s ‘Floor’.
The release comes out via Dog Knights Productions on 4th August.
Listen below to playlounge’s ‘handclap cinema’.
