Premiere: Dan Le Sac Unveils New Video For ‘Play Along’

DIY have a special premiere of the brand new video from Dan Le Sac.

The video, which features Sarah Williams White, accompanies the first single to be taken from his new solo album.

We also had Dan give us a little extra insight into the video itself, and he had this to say: ‘The ‘Play Along’ video is a strange thing for me, it’s the first video I’ve done solo, but every time I watch it, I’m expecting a bearded dude to poke his head in and start shouting at the camera. To be honest with Sarah Williams White in the video, it certainly makes it a more pleasant affair, even if she’s chopping people up.

‘I made it with friends, Dan Peters & Joe Kerrigan, who have in recent years started making videos for a living. Dan & I liked the way the entertainment industry can take adult content and repackage it for younger audiences, like ‘The Toxic Avenger’ starting out as a horror movie then ending up as a kids cartoon, musical and game. It’s almost a comment on the way you can write a song about fucking and get it played on daytime radio, but no quite.’

Dan Le Sac releases his debut solo album ‘Space Between The Words’ through Sunday Best on the 9th July.
