Premiere: Listen: BASECAMP Stream Debut EP In Full
Nashville production trio go bold on their first, self-titled work.

Throw as many producers into the ring as required - sometimes the full-band route is a more rewarding listen.
Nashville’s BASECAMP consists of a trio of similarly-minded producers, combining a love of skyscraper R&B and underground UK garage.
Together they began by segueing their ideas into breakthrough song ‘Emmanuel’. What follows shows off the full-band rewards in glorified bloom.
‘Emmanuel’ segues into the rest of the Aaron Miller, Aaron C. Harmon, and Jordan Reyes’ debut, self-titled EP. ‘2 Thingz’ is a similarly-minded creature. The sleek glow of the EP opener comes trembling down, giving way to a more expansive piece. ‘Rydia’ meanwhile is a more minimal, clipped song, defined by soul-enhanced heartbreak. As clever a work as this might be, it’s all the more capable of aiming for the upper heights of the charts.
Closer ‘Smoke Filled Lungs’ gives off a dark, misty glow, proving there’s more than one singular cause to BASECAMP. Together they alight something on the brink of taking liftoff.
DIY has the premiere for BASECAMP’s debut EP. Stream in full below.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
