Premiere: Listen: Bleeding Rainbow Preview New Album With ‘Tell Me’
Kanine signings get down in the dumps on a commanding take from their ‘Interrupt’ LP.

Philadelphia’s Bleeding Rainbow don’t so much force things into the system as neatly align and gently recommend the waltzing fuzz force that defines their new album ‘Interrupt’.
With the record out on Kanine Records (24th February), DIY’s been handed an all-thrills preview of the record, with ‘Tell Me’. Title-wise it’s all demands, a no-pretence imperative that leaves no room for a cheeky response. As it plays out though, there’s a wicked embrace that’s less intimidating, more something to nestle up against. Still, it’s not a sunny day kind of refrain racing through the song: ‘My brain’s dead I cannot see,’ run the vocals at the very end. It’s a despondent end to an equally drudged-up song, but it’s the kind of number that can be approached in two ways.
DIY’s delighted to have the premiere. Listen below. ‘Interrupt’ is out on 24th February.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
