Premiere: Listen: Ofei Streams New Track, ‘Tomorrow’

London-based, dreadlock-addled Ofei is still keeping things on the down-low. Between Jan 2013’s Neu profile on his grand narratives and skewed form of songwriting, to today, he’s been sticking to more subdued surroundings. Gigs have been few and far between - instead he’s been rooted to the studio, putting together songs like this, ‘Tomorrow’.

His latest single confirms that all the initial chit-chat wasn’t for nothing. Raspy, all-conquering vocals are warped out of consciousness, overseeing a slick piano line. Beyond that, it’s a ridiculously minimal piece. Daring to the point of carelessness, it still manages to pull it out the bag.
