Premiere: Watch: Sky Larkin Unveil ‘Loom’ Video

Hot on the heels of news for their DIY-associated UK tour, Sky Larkin are premiering their video for ‘Loom’, the lead single off their ‘Motto’ album, out 16th September via Wichita Recordings.

‘Loom”s subject matter isn’t one for the faint-hearted. ‘I knew that the inspiration for this song meant that it would be the saddest on the record for me,’ singer Katie Harkin explained earlier this month. Saying this, she also described ‘Loom’ as ‘pop on the surface with a darkness that the casual listener might not pick up on,’ which is very much what this self-directed new clip hones in on.

The video is all happy adventures galore, checking out guitar museums, diving into lovely English lakes (basically doing things that a busy touring schedule probably won’t grant them, but shhh, they don’t have to know this).
