Tonight sees the Commonwealth Games close in suitably sequinned style, with Kylie set to be the star of the Glasgow showcase.

Also performing are local synth pop newcomers, Prides.

The trio will be taking over DIY’s Instagram account this evening (3rd August) between 5pm and 11pm in order to share a little of the behind-the-scenes magic.

The ceremony itself is taking place at Hampden Park stadium in Glasgow from 9pm, with Kylie’s performance arranged to symbolise “the Games’ transfer to her native Australia in 2018”, according to the BBC.

Prides are due to support Blink-182 at Brixton Academy later this week (6th August), as well as headline the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds later in the month.

Their new single, ‘I Should Know You Better’ is released on 29th September.
