Prides to play October UK headline tour
The Glasgow troupe will visit venues around the country this October.
Fresh from their performance at the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony yesterday (Sunday 3rd August), Glasgow trio Prides have confirmed details of a UK tour. The dates kick off on 17th October in Liverpool, finishing a week later in Bristol. There’s also a one-off hometown show in December.
Singer Stewart Brock says: “We’re massively excited to announce our very first UK Headline tour. We’ll be returning to some of our favourite places along the way, and hitting up some new spots too. We’ve been really lucky to have played pretty solidly throughout the year with some amazing people, at some amazing places, so now we head out on our own. Like the start of some great Westerns, see you on the road.”
The tour will follow shortly after the release of the band’s new single, ‘I Should Know You Better’, which is due on 29th September. They also headline the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds Festival later this month, alongside Arctic Monkeys, Blink-182, Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore, Vampire Weekend, The Horrors, Bombay Bicycle Club, Chvrches, Warpaint and more.
The tour dates are as follows:
OCTOBER
17 The Kazimier, Liverpool
20 Brudenell Social Club, Leeds
21 Sound Control, Manchester
22 The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
23 The Barfly, London
24 The Old Bookshop, Bristol
DECEMBER
06 Oran Mor, Glasgow
Tickets will go on sale on Friday 8th August.
