Primal Scream Confirmed As Sunday Night Camp Bestival Headliners
Following the band’s return to the stage this month
Following the band’s return to the stage this month on their Screamadelica tour, Primal Scream have been confirmed as the Sunday night headliners for Camp Bestival 2011.
Primal Scream will join other headliners Blondie and Mark Ronson & The Business Inl at this year’s festival, held at Lulworth Castle in Dorset on 28th - 31st July.
Rob da Bank, festival curator, says: ‘Screamadelica is undoubtedly in my top 5 albums of all time. It came out just as i was launching myself into raveland, soundtracked so many late nights and early mornings and is at heart one of the best combinations of dance, soul and rock n roll ever. Screamadelica and Primal Scream have stood the test of time better than most and I can’t wait for Camp Bestival-goers old and young to hear it either again or for the first time. Come together!’
