Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Inhaler & more to play second Gig For Gaza
The show - once again curated by Paul Weller - will take place in October and aims to raise urgent funds to aid those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Inhaler and more will take to the stage for the second edition of Gig For Gaza, a one-off show aiming to raise urgent funds to help aid those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
This year’s show - which will, again, be curated by Paul Weller - will take place at London’s Troxy on Friday 17th October, and follows on from last year’s O2 Academy Brixton show, which helped raise over £125,000 for aid efforts and feaured appearances from other artists including Kneecap and Paloma Faith.
As well as the aforementioned performances, the night will include a stripped back set from Maverick Sabre, as well as guest speakers and films, while the artwork has been designed by Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja. All money raised will go to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and Gaza Forever, two organisations providing on-the-ground support to those currently in Gaza.
Tickets for the Gig For Gaza show are set to go on sale on Friday 1st August from 10am via SEE Tickets and Dice.fm.
