Primitive: Watch: Primitive Parts Unveil ‘Open Heads’ Video
Watch Neil from Mazes getting sprayed with aerosol and covered in post-it notes.

During childhood, free time is a thing, allowing for ridiculous games like dressing up, hide and seek and let’s kick a football into a goal. Something about Primitive Parts’ ‘Open Heads’ video latches onto this sense of endless free time, because how else do you come up with a mini-film like this?
Neil Robinson from Mazes is the star. He spends the entire time of this 2 and a half minute film being prompted by various items that’ve all clearly been picked up in a charity shop. Ranging from desk fans to toy telephones, his playtime is disturbed by faceless characters who spend their time spraying him in the face with deodorant. Credit to the guy, he keeps his cool.
Primitive Parts do not actually have as much free time as this video might suggest. ‘Open Heads’ forms part of a single out now on Sexbeat, and the band’s next show is with Eagulls at London Electrowerkz, 5th March.
Linsday Corstorphine directs the video - we’ve got the first play.
