Listen Pusha T returns with new track ‘Lunch Money’
Kanye West produced track finds him in intense mode.
Pusha T has shared a new track that is rumoured to be part of his forthcoming album King Push. Should ‘Lunch Money’ appear on the album, it will be the first preview of new material since last year’s ‘My Name Is My Name’, which was produced by Kanye West.
Teaming up with Kanye again, ‘Lunch Money’ is rooted in a whirlpool of a beat that sprays out streams of distortion and Pusha T’s bullying poetics. Perhaps it heralds a more experimental direction for the former Clipse man – it’s more akin to the avant-garde sounds of ‘Yeezus’ than ‘My Name Is My Name’ What remains of the former is Pusha T spitting in a ruthless mood.
