PWR BTTM return with new single ‘Projection’

They’re also playing their first ever UK dates in December.

Queer punk duo PWR BTTM are back in business, with a waltzing, jarring new musical offering ‘Projection’. It goes out to everyone who’s ever fretted about what impressions they send out into the world, and every person who’s felt their “skin isn’t made for the weather”.

“‘Projection’ is a song about feeling unqualified to be the way you see yourself because of the way other people see you,” explained the band’s Ben Hopkins, “and how other people’s perception of your identity can warp your sense of self. It’s about being exhausted with the pressure of fitting in and throwing a shiny, glorious middle finger to those who doubt you.”

Following PWR BTTM’s signing to Big Scary Monsters, there’s yet more good news abound; their ‘Ugly Cherries’ debut album is all set for a proper fancy UK release. The band are also headed to our shores in December for their FIRST EVER UK dates. Exciting news all round.
