Ratatat announce new album ‘Magnifique’

Experimental duo Ratatat have announced details for their new fifth album.

‘Magnifique’ follows on from ‘LP4’, arriving more than five years on since the predecessor. It’s out 17th July on Because Music / XL Recordings.

Evan Mast and Mike Stroud previewed the LP earlier this week with a France-inspired ‘Intro’ video. Before that, they debuted the ‘Cream on Chrome’ single at Coachella 2015.

The record came together at various studios in Jamaica, Long Island, Brooklyn and New York City.

Catch Ratatat live at this year’s Primavera Sound, 30th May. They also play Paris’ We Love Green on 31st May.
