Raury and The Neighbourhood combine for ‘Warm’ track

LA group are giving away the track as part of a new mixtape.

Los Angeles noir-rockers The Neighbourhood are putting out a new mixtape, #000000 & #FFFFFF (that translates to ‘black and white’, for Photoshop-shy newbies). As part of the release, they’ve collaborated with 18 year old prodigy Raury.

The ‘Indigo Child’ himself has recently put out a mixtape/self-released album of his own, before inking a deal with Columbia. Raury’s also set to appear on the ‘Higher’ track for SBTRKT’s second album, ‘Wonder Where We Land’. And as part of his first full-length, he joined forces with New Zealand newcomer Vancouver Sleep Clinic.

This latest, gloomy cut is defined by novocaine-soaked vocals and a cloudy aesthetic, occasionally shot through with piercing guitar work.

The Neighbourhood’s new mixtape is downloadable here - listen to ‘warm’ below.

Raury is set to play his first London show at the Red Gallery, 7th October.
