Reading 2011: The Vaccines Talk Album Number Two
The Vaccines have revealed they’ve already started thinking about their next album.

The Vaccines have revealed they’ve already started thinking about their next album, just months after the release of their debut, ‘What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?’.
Speaking to DIY at Reading Festival yesterday (Friday 26th August), they told us: ‘We haven’t made any definitive plans for the next record but the thought process is kind of there.
‘We just worked on a new song with Albert Hammond Jr. from The Strokes. We did that a few weeks ago in up-state New York. The writing is ongoing really.’
For the time being, however, they’re mostly on the road: ‘We’re planning on just carrying on touring, basically. We’ve got plans that go up to March/April next year and then there might be more plans after that.’
The band will play Leeds Festival today (Saturday 27th August) on the NME/Radio 1 Stage at 6.25pm. Check back later in the week for the full interview.
