Reading 2013: Fall Out Boy: “It’s Really Triumphant For Us”
Pete Wentz is in excitable mood ahead of the band’s main stage set.
Fall Out Boy, Nine Inch Nails, Biffy Clyro. It’s a big night for rock, and Pete Wentz and co are in excitable mood to be a part of it.
Ahead of his set, Wentz told DIY: ‘To be playing third to last on a festival like this is crazy.
‘Today’s wild. These are the festivals that we were fans of growing up, on TV and stuff.’
Fall Out Boy played a couple of warm-up shows ahead of their R&L slots. ‘It’s cool the way that it keeps you on your feet. Because we play different sets during festivals then we do for headlines, it reenergises you because the kids are all there to see you.’
Wentz and co play Reading Festival tonight on the main stage, 18.40.
