According to rumours on Gigwise.com, the headliners of next year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals look set to be Green Day, Foo Fighters and The Prodigy.
The festivals will take place from the 24th to the 26th August 2012 at Little John’s Farm, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds. The first batch of earlybird tickets have already been on sale, but more look set to be released early next year.
This year saw the headliners range between My Chemical Romance, Muse, The Strokes and Pulp, with other acts including the likes of 30 Seconds To Mars, The National and Elbow.
Green Day last headlined Reading and Leeds Festivals way back in 2004, with Foo Fighters taking on the massive slot in 2005. However, The Prodigy have yet to be given the honour, last gracing the festival line-up before Arctic Monkeys in 2009. So, we shall see!
