Richard Hawley Announces Details Of Sixth Album

Richard Hawley has announced plans to release his sixth studio album, entitled ‘Standing At The Sky’s Edge’ on the 7th May.

His new record will be the follow-up to his award-winning 2009 album ‘Truelove’s Gutter’, and is the first for his new label Parlophone.

Hawley recorded the new record in Sheffield’s Yellow Arch Studio throughout 2011, and persuaded an entirely new direction. The man himself has said, “I wanted to get away from the orchestration of my previous records and make a live album with two guitars, bass, drums and rocket noises!”

‘Standing At The Sky’s Edge’ gets released on the 7th May and will be available in CD, digital download and gatefold double vinyl editions.
