Ryan Hemsworth airs video for collaboration with Alex G, ’Too Long Here’
Hemsworth follows his ‘Secret Songs’ compilation with a new clip.
Ryan Hemsworth has a new video for ‘Too Long Here’, taken from the 2014 album ‘Alone For The First Time’. The track features songwriter Alex G on vocals, who contributed after Ryan Hemsworth contacted him when listening to Giannascoli’s album ‘DSU’.
The clip features an actress who takes selfies in a trip around the city; on the underground; in a toy shop and waiting for the bus. There’s a haunting twist towards the end with clones of herself appearing as a result of “technology… allowing us to enhance our self-obsession and vanity,” according to Hemsworth. All in good jest of course - Hemsworth adds that inspiration was partly from a Simpsons Halloween episode where Homer clones himself.
