Sam Smith has flown to America to try and get his voice back after cancelling more dates

Original saucy warbler - and in many eyes the one true king to the throne - Mr Sam Smith has been a little under the weather recently, having been forced to cancel an Australian tour after doctors found a haemorrhage on his throat. With his problems worsening, the ‘Stay With Me’ hit-maker has now had to head to America for specialist treatment.

Posting on his Instagram recently, Smith revealed that he hadn’t “spoken a word in three days” in an attempt to regain his voice, but with that warble no closer to returning and shows in Japan and Manilla the latest to receive the chop he posted again to clarify that “this is fucking horrid” and he’d left Australia for the States in search of treatment. Or possibly karaoke bars.
