Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran to play BRIT Awards 2015

The BRIT Awards has announced its first batch of live performances for the 2015 ceremony, taking place on 25th February at London’s O2 Arena.

Taylor Swift is following up her ‘1989’ album with an appearance, ahead of her headline show at London Hyde Park on 27th June for British Summer Time.

Million-selling star Ed Sheeran joins proceedings prior to his three nights at Wembley Stadium, while last year’s Critics’ Choice Award winner Sam Smith backs up his chart-topping year with a return to the ceremony.

Next year’s BRIT Awards will be broadcast live on ITV. James Bay was recently chosen for the 2015 BRITs Critics’ Choice Award, beating Years & Years and George the Poet to the new music prize.
