Savoir announce debut single, stream ‘Malala’

Savoir is a new Melbourne-based trio consisting of producers James Ireland and Andrew Sinclair, plus the distinctive vocals of Mei Swan.

This November, they’re putting out their debut 12”, ‘Eternal’, which consists of two tracks plus remixes from Adesse Versions and Harvey Sutherland.

With ‘Malala’, the trio’s percussive burst of energy is filtered into a dancey, quick-thinking debut. World samples - lifted from different corners of the globe - weave in and out of the picture. It’s in the permanent fixtures of tip-tap percussion and Swan’s soulful vocal that this track comes to life, however.
