See Cat Power debut a new song at Istanbul gig

Cat Power recently debuted new material at an Istanbul show, the first glimpse of a follow up to 2012 LP ‘Sun’.

A show at Istanbul Babylon fell as part of a recent lengthy run of European shows. She played two nights in the Turkish city, with fan-shot footage of the new song viewable below. Initial listens reveal it to be a direct, immediate piano-led number.

In the past couple of years, Cat Power has collaborated with the likes of Coldplay and Willis Earl Beal, the latter working on ‘Coming Through’ from the ‘Nobody Knows’ LP.
