See Chvrches perform in Moog Labs session

2013 was a hectic year for Chvrches. They caused a frenzy through debut ‘The Bones of What You Believe’, racing to the front of public consciousness.

So, in comparison, 2014 has been a bit of a quiet one for the synth-happy Scots, nothing but touring on the agenda. But, as of late, they’ve crept back onto the radar.

With Mayberry joining Bleachers on stage for a live cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Go Your Own Way’ and her band contributing a new track, ‘Dead Air’, to the Lorde-curated ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ soundtrack, it seems likely that more fresh material is on the cards. That’s not forgetting their contribution to Zane Lowe’s ‘Drive’ rework.

For now though, enjoy this re-worked version of ‘The Mother We Share’ in all of its spectral charm, performed by the band in an exclusive Moog Sound Labs synth showcase.
