See Ex Hex’s new video for ‘Don’t Wanna Lose’
The clip is a tribute to a Lou Adler cult film.
Ex Hex have shared a video for ‘Don’t Wanna Lose’, a track taken from their album ‘Rips’ which was released in 2014 on Merge Records.
The trio’s new clip is a homage to Lou Adler’s film ‘Ladies and Gentlemen: The Fabulous Stains’, which is a story of three teenage girls who start a punk band, starring Laura Dern and Diane Lane.
Directed by Laura Jean Gallagher, Ex Hex recapture the spirit as ‘The Fabulous Ex Hex’, on a smoke filled stage, in a parking lot and plastered over popular magazines. As playful and fun as the track, Mary Timony et al present a nostalgic take at the sound and fashion dominating the particular era.
