It might be October, but Shame are saying ‘Feliz Navidad’

Fancy a side of autotune with your Christmas cheer? Step this way.

Every year, Christmas comes a little bit earlier. Mid-October and branches of M&S nationwide are already throwing out the Christmas puds, prosecco crisps and turkey sandwiches like confetti.

Sometimes it can get irritating to see everyone getting festive so early, granted, but we’ve just been gifted an early Christmas present that we can’t help but adore.

So, well… Shame have covered ‘Feliz Navidad’. Literally out of nowhere, our favourite South London punks have decided to cover the 1970 classic by José Feliciano, and it’s truly astonishing.

Complete with quite amazing artwork featuring Santa as the band’s new onstage mascot, the track, we promise, features some quite wonderful autotune, a deep voice bellowing lyrics in Spanish (we can’t quite work out which member of Shame is responsible - send intel to DIY HQ) and all the Christmas cheer in the world.

Alright, press play then.
