Sharon Van Etten and Julia Holter are amongst the musicians confirmed to cover previously unreleased songs from late folk artist Karen Dalton.
On 26th May, ‘Remembering Mountains: Unheard Songs By Karen Dalton’ gets a release via Tompkins Square. Consisting of eleven tracks, the compilation also features contributions from Marissa Nadler, Diane Cluck, Isobel Campbell and Laurel Halo.
Van Etten covered ‘Remembering Mountains’ from the release - back in 2014, she gave a live debut to the track in Munich. Watch it below a tracklist.
