Middlesbrough fest Twisterella announces 2026 headliners
Walt disco, loveshy, The Rooks and Mouth Ulcers will all be topping the bill this year.

Twisterella Festival has confirmed that the four acts due to headline its 12th edition this Autumn are Scottish DIY faves Walt Disco, fellow Glaswegian Brit-Rockers The Rooks, innovative London producer loveshy, and ’80s darkwave specialists Mouth Ulcers.
They’ll all perform in venues across the city on Saturday 3rd October for what’s shaping up to be another scorcher of a new music showcase; elsewhere on the bill, Twisterella 2026 will also play host to exciting new names including End Credits, Pearly Gates, Robyn Banks, and Tanzana, as well as more established firm fixtures on the grassroots circuit like KEG, The Slow Country, and ELLiS-D.
Speaking about Twisterella’s upcoming latest instalment - which will now take place across five venues - the festival’s co-promoter Henry Carden has said: “We’re absolutely over the moon to be adding Rebel:Rebel and The Buffs to our list of host venues this year. They ensure all of our stages are less than 5 minutes walk from one another, and will be truly brilliant additions to the event.
“This latest wave of artists has also reminds me of why we do what we do! Mouth Ulcers are probably my most listened to act of 2026 so far, so to be able to bring them to our town means the world. UTB.”
Tickets for Twisterella 2026 are on sale now, and you can nab yours via the festival’s website.
Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements soon… and in the meantime, check out the full lineup (so far!) below.
