Sigur Rós are playing a third date at Manchester’s O2 Apollo
It extends their already mammoth tour of the UK and Europe in September and October.

Icelandic post-rockers Sigur Rós have already announced plans for
an absolutely ginormous US tour and plans for an equally epic voyage around the
UK and Europe.
They’ve only gone and extended that tour just a little bit
though! The band have announced plans to play a third date at Manchester’s O2
Apollo on 18th September. They then play three dates at London’s Eventim Apollo
before moving on two another two nights at Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium. Tickets
for the new show in Manchester are on sale now.
The dates are under the banner of ‘An Evening With Sigur
Rós’, and it’ll be the first time the group have played without a support act,
instead playing two sets with an interval. They’re also expected to play songs
from their as-yet-unannounced eighth album.
